Schwerkolt Cottage

Garden weddings – Schwerkolt Cottage is centred within a 2.25 hectare park is fantastic venue for an Outdoor Wedding Venue. The cottage is situated within a small garden with an old style post and rail fence perfect as the backdrop for a garden wedding. It was built in 1884 and is furnished in the style of that period. At the front of the cottage there is an open lawn area (pictured below) which is an ideal ceremony location. Surrounding the cottage garden are farm buildings that have been brought in or constructed to replace the originals that were destroyed by fire. The cottage and these buildings make interesting backdrops for wedding photos. The cottage garden can not be used for garden weddings and photos between 2.00pm and 5.00pm Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, but the area outside the cottage fence can be within this time. At any other time the garden for garden weddings can be used. Please check with the council for weekday use
